What Is the SureSmile Clear Aligner Process?

Your SureSmile treatment journey begins with capturing 3D digital images of your teeth and bite to map out your personalized treatment plan. It will outline the precise movements of your teeth and your expected length of treatment. The SureSmile Simulator will provide you with a preview of your new, improved smile.

Your custom clear aligners are fabricated at a SureSmile laboratory using 3D printed models and robotic laser trimming, providing a perfect, comfortable fit. After receiving your aligners, you’ll need to wear them for 20-22 hours, taking them out only to eat, drink anything other than water, and brush and floss your teeth.

You’ll wear each set of aligners for about 1-2 weeks before swapping them for the next in the series to continue moving your teeth into alignment. Once you achieve your desired results, we will provide you with SureSmile Retainers to ensure your teeth don’t move back out of position.
